Important Weekend Sports Results

The best sports news for Rio Mesa fans this weekend was the 9-4 victory by the Spartan's water polo team against Malibu H.S. in the 2010 C.I.F. Division VI playoff championship game. The victory was made even sweeter after having lost in the championship games in 2008 and 2009. Congratulations to Coach Derrick Timmons and the fine players in his powerhouse program.
