The Liduvina Perez Mystery Saint Contest

Mike's future Mother-in-Law, Liduvina Perez, is a DEVOUT Catholic.  She is an expert on the saints and today, in her honor, we proudly present our first Mystery Saint Contest.  See if you can figure out the name of this saint.

CLUE #1

This statue of our Mystery Saint wearing only a robe, can be found in the Milan Duomo's south transept.

CLUE #2

The statue was carved by one of Leonardo's students.  It is a study in human anatomy learned by dissection which was forbidden by the Catholic Church at that time.

CLUE #3

Our Mystery Saint was a martyr who was skinned alive by the Romans.  No, that is NOT a robe draped around him, it is his skin!  Here you see the skin of his head over his shoulder.

In CLUE #2 you saw the skin of his leg behind his left leg.

CLUE #4

Here you see the sinew of hands.  Our Mystery Saint was one of Jesus Christ's 12 Apostles.

WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS MYSTERY SAINT?

No, Liduvina, you are NOT eligible to win a contest named in your honor!!!

Our winner is none other than Elephant's team owner Davide Giuliano who correctly named San Bartolomeo Scoriato although he answered on a different blog post we still name him the winner!
