Family Reunion in Milan

After the Rhino game we got to our hotel in Milan, showered and changed in time to meet my second cousin Maria Clara, her husband Dario and daughter Isabel.  They are moving into a new apartment this coming Friday so we celebrated by taking them out to dinner.

Dinner in Milan at Flamba

We had a GREAT time.  I really enjoy visiting with the Italian side of our Cuban/Argentine family.

Flamba is a two story, moored canal boat turned into a ristorante.

A Passeggiate in Milan's Naviglia District

Flamba is located in these old canals that Leonardo designed to bring marble from 60 miles away into the center of Milan to build the Duomo.  It is now full of places to eat, boutiques and street vendors.  It is a GREAT place for a stroll on a hot Sunday night.

The Naviglia District

A lot of fun on a late Sunday night took a little of the sting out of our loss earlier in the day.
